Swap and bridge without handing over your coins

Move between 49 networks from your Keylo wallet. Routes come from decentralized protocols, and you see every fee and the least you'll receive before you sign.

How a swap works in Keylo

  1. Step 1

Pick what you have and what you want

Choose a coin or token on any supported network and the one you'd like on the same or a different network.

  2. Step 2

Keylo asks the routers for quotes

LI.FI compares decentralized exchanges and bridges; THORChain quotes native swaps between chains like Bitcoin, Ethereum and XRP. You see the best route.

  3. Step 3

    Check the route and sign

The quote lists each step, the network fee, any bridge or protocol fee, the estimated time and the minimum you'll receive. Your device signs; your keys never leave it.

  4. Step 4

    Follow it to the end

Keylo tracks the transfer on both chains and tells you when it arrives or, if a route can't finish, when the protocol has returned your funds.

Where the routes come from

LI.FI

An aggregator that compares decentralized exchanges and bridges such as Across, Stargate, Relay and others, and returns one route. Used for tokens on EVM networks and Solana.

Designed so your funds don't get stuck

Funds move wallet to protocol to wallet

Keylo never takes custody during a swap. Your coins go straight from your wallet to audited, decentralized contracts or THORChain's vaults, and the output is paid to your own address.

A minimum you'll receive

Every quote carries a slippage limit. If the price moves past it while your transaction is pending, the swap doesn't execute at the worse price.

Refunds are built into the protocols

If a THORChain swap can't complete it's refunded to the sending address, minus network fees. LI.FI bridges either deliver or return funds, sometimes as a different token that still lands in your wallet.

Only what's needed, nothing more

Token approvals cover the exact amount you're swapping, EVM transactions are simulated before you sign, and THORChain routes are skipped while a chain is paused.

Every fee, before you sign

Network fee
Paid to the blockchain you send from, shown in the coin and in dollars.
Exchange or bridge fee
Charged by the protocol that runs that step of the route.
Destination fee
For THORChain, the cost of paying out on the other chain.
Keylo fee
Listed separately whenever one applies.
Minimum received
The least you'll get after slippage. Below it, the swap doesn't execute.

Swap questions

What's the difference between a swap and a bridge?

A swap exchanges one asset for another on the same network, like ETH for USDC on Base. A bridge moves value from one network to another, like USDC on Base to USDC on Arbitrum. Keylo can do both in one step, for example ETH on Base to USDC on Solana.

How long does a cross-chain swap take?

Most routes between EVM networks finish in under five minutes. Routes from Bitcoin, Litecoin or Dogecoin wait for block confirmations, so they usually take 10 to 60 minutes. The quote shows an estimate before you confirm.

What fees will I pay?

The network fee on the chain you send from, plus any fees charged by the exchange, bridge or THORChain, which can include a fee to deliver on the destination chain. Any Keylo service fee is listed separately. Every fee appears in the quote before you sign.

Can my funds get stuck?

Keylo only uses decentralized routes that either complete or refund. You might wait longer when a bridge is busy, and the tracker keeps checking. If a transfer is still pending after an hour, contact support with the swap link and we'll look it up on both chains with you.

Can I swap Bitcoin without wrapping it?

Yes. THORChain swaps native BTC for native coins on other chains, like ETH, USDC on Ethereum, XRP or DOGE. You send BTC with a memo and receive the other asset at your Keylo address on that network.
