Zora Wallet: ETH on Zora Network vs ZORA and Creator Coins

A Zora wallet can mean your 0x address on Zora Network, the quiet layer 2 where older Zora mints live, or the wallet in the Zora app. The ZORA token and creator coins aren't on Zora Network at all: they live on Base, and ZORA also on Solana. Check the network before you look for a balance.

A Zora wallet usually means one of two things: your 0x address on Zora Network, or the wallet built into the Zora app. But they aren't the same place. Zora Network is an Ethereum layer 2 where many Zora NFTs were minted in 2023 and 2024. The Zora app, its creator coins and the ZORA token have since moved to Base, and ZORA has an official Solana version too.

So first, work out which network your asset is on. ETH you bridged to Zora and older mints sit on Zora Network. ZORA and creator coins sit on Base. A balance that seems to be missing is almost always just on a different network. Figures below are as of October 24, 2026.

Zora Network, the Zora app and ZORA are three things#

People mix these up all the time, so most "lost" Zora funds are simply on another network.

Zora Network#

Zora launched its own layer 2 in 2023 because it wanted minting to be cheap. It runs the OP Stack, settles on Ethereum and charges gas in ETH. For a while, artists published editions there and collectors minted them.

After 2024, activity faded. L2BEAT counted about $5 million secured on Zora Network in late October 2026, almost all of it ETH, and very few transactions per second. The network still runs, and we found no shutdown announcement as of October 24. Zora's current developer docs, however, now cover only its coins protocol on Base.

The Zora app and creator coins#

In 2025 the Zora app turned posts and profiles into tradable coins, starting with creator coins for profiles in June 2025. Activating one is now optional. Coins started as ERC-20 tokens on Base, and by August 2026 Zora also supported coins on Solana and Robinhood Chain. The app also stopped letting users mint NFTs.

The app gives you a built-in smart wallet. Funds there live on the networks the app uses, but not on Zora Network.

The ZORA token#

ZORA has a total supply of 10 billion. Zora lists two official contracts:

  • Base: 0x1111111111166b7FE7bd91427724B487980aFc69

  • Solana: soKqZS9pASwBNS46G388nhK7XVtPaTyReffXEd3zora

There is no official ZORA on Zora Network, so a token called ZORA there is a fake. You can check both addresses on Zora's support page.

Only after you send them out

Keylo has no NFT view on Zora Network, so old mints won't appear there. But they're still at your address, and the Zora explorer shows them. To display or move them, use a wallet with NFT support for Zora Network.

Your Zora wallet address#

Zora Network uses Ethereum-style accounts, so your Zora address is the same 0x address you have on Base and Ethereum. Keylo derives it on m/44'/60'/0'/0/0, the path MetaMask uses for its first account. There's no memo and no minimum balance.

That shared address also helps here. If you sent ZORA to yourself on Base, it's at the same address you use on Zora Network, just under Base. The Receive screen reminds you of this: funds sent on another EVM network still reach you, on that network.

Zora smart wallet: exporting and linking#

The Zora app's wallet works differently, because a smart wallet is a contract account. Its address isn't derived from a recovery phrase. So even if you find a key to export, importing it into Keylo or MetaMask opens a different address, not your Zora wallet.

To move funds out, send them from the app instead. Zora's steps are: tap the wallet icon, choose Send, pick the token, paste a full wallet address, enter the amount, then review and send. ZORA travels on Base, so the receiving wallet must support Base, or Zora warns the tokens may be lost. A Zora username sends to that person's Zora wallet, not to their own outside wallet.

Linking your own wallet to the Zora app needs a wallet that connects to websites, such as MetaMask or Rabby. Keylo can't be linked, since it has no dapp connections.

How to choose a Zora wallet#

Pick based on which Zora you deal with, because each needs something different.

  • For creator coins and the Zora feed, the Zora app and its wallet are the obvious choice.

  • For old Zora Network mints, use a wallet that shows NFTs on Zora Network and connects to bridges, such as MetaMask or Rabby.

  • For ZORA as an investment, any wallet that supports Base or Solana works. A hardware wallet adds protection for large amounts.

  • For ETH on Zora Network plus your other chains, a multi-chain wallet keeps everything under one phrase.

Keylo is a web wallet that runs in your browser. On Zora Network it can hold, send and receive ETH and ERC-20 tokens, but it can't swap, bridge or show NFTs there. On Base and Solana, Keylo holds ZORA too, and the swap screen works on those networks instead. Keylo doesn't connect to dapps, support hardware wallets or offer card purchases.

How to set up a Zora wallet in Keylo#

  1. Head to Keylo's sign-up page. Enter your full name, email, phone number and a password, then tap Create account.

  2. If you see "Check your inbox", confirm your email.

  3. Tap Create a new wallet, or Import a recovery phrase if you used Zora Network with MetaMask or a similar wallet.

  4. Open Zora in the asset list to see your ETH on Zora Network. Then open Base, where ZORA and creator coins live.

  5. Save your phrase from Settings under Recovery phrase. Enter your password, write the words down and confirm the ones Keylo asks for.

  6. Enable two-factor authentication and an anti-phishing code in Settings.

Keylo generates and encrypts the phrase in your browser, so the server only stores the encrypted version. That also means Keylo can't recover it for you, so the paper copy matters.

Tokens on Zora Network don't appear on their own in Keylo, and neither do ZORA or creator coins on Base. So add each one by contract under Settings, Networks, Custom tokens, using the Base address above for ZORA.

Keylo creates your wallet in the browser and never sees your phrase. Check Zora Network and Base side by side.

How to receive ETH on Zora Network#

  1. Tap Receive and choose Zora. The screen shows "Receive on Zora", a QR code and your address.

  2. Tap Copy or Share, or let the sender scan the code.

  3. Ask the sender to send on Zora Network, chain ID 7777777, not Base or Ethereum.

  4. After they send, check the transaction on the Zora explorer, then look for the balance under Zora in Keylo.

Keylo has no explorer index for Zora Network, so its activity list there shows only transfers you send from Keylo. An incoming payment raises your balance without appearing in the list, and the Zora explorer shows it under your address.

How to send ETH on Zora Network#

  1. Tap Send and choose ETH or a custom token on Zora.

  2. In To, paste or scan the recipient's address. Keylo checks the format and the checksum.

  3. Enter an amount, or tap Max. Max keeps back what the fee needs.

  4. Tap Review and choose Slow, Normal or Fast. On a network this quiet, Slow usually confirms within seconds.

  5. Check the network, recipient and fee, then tap Send. When it shows "Sent", View on Explorer opens it on the Zora explorer.

Keylo simulates the transfer before you sign and warns if the recipient is a contract. It also tells you when there isn't enough ETH on Zora to pay the fee. If a transfer ever sits pending, Speed up resends it with a higher fee.

Zora Network fees#

Zora Network charges two parts, both in ETH: execution on Zora, priced with an EIP-1559 base fee and tip, and a data fee for posting the transaction to Ethereum. Keylo includes both in the fee it shows on the review screen.

The total is also tiny. On October 24, 2026, Zora's gas price was about 0.001 gwei. A plain ETH transfer cost roughly 0.00000003 ETH, including the Ethereum part. Keylo adds nothing to a normal send.

Old mint transactions often showed a second cost: the mint fee, which went to the artist and protocol rather than the network. If you look back at a 2023 mint on the explorer, the value you sent was the mint price, and the gas was separate.

Leaving costs more than staying, though. Moving ETH off Zora means a bridge fee or, through the native bridge, two transactions on Ethereum. Keep a little ETH on Zora Network until you've moved everything else you need.

Moving ETH off Zora Network#

Keylo can't bridge from Zora Network, so plan this part before you send anything there. Zora's bridge page lists the options, all run by third parties, including these two:

  • Superbridge, the native OP Stack bridge to Ethereum. Withdrawals need a prove step on Ethereum, about seven days of waiting and a final claim on Ethereum, paid in mainnet ETH.

  • Relay, a fast bridge that pays out on Base, Ethereum and other networks within minutes for a fee. Relay listed Zora as active on October 24.

Both are websites you connect a wallet to. So to use them, import your recovery phrase into an extension wallet such as MetaMask, installed from its official site. Your ETH then arrives at the same 0x address on the destination network, and Keylo shows it under that network.

A simple pattern works for most people. Bridge your Zora ETH to Base once, then do everything else from Base, because exchanges support it widely. The swap and bridge page explains how routes work there.

Zora scams and mistakes to avoid#

  • Fake ZORA tokens. Anyone can create a token named ZORA on any network. Only the Base and Solana contracts listed above are official.

  • Fake airdrops and claims. Messages offering a ZORA claim, or tokens with a website in their name, lead to drainer sites. A real claim never needs your recovery phrase.

  • "Zora wallet checker" sites. Eligibility checkers that ask you to connect a wallet or sign a message are a common drainer trick. Use only links from Zora's own support pages.

  • Wrong network for exchanges. Sending from Zora Network to an exchange that doesn't watch it can strand the funds. Bridge to Base first.

  • Fake support. Keylo staff never ask for your recovery phrase or password. Reach the team through Keylo support, and read how Keylo protects your wallet.

The network also has its own trust assumptions. L2BEAT doesn't rate Zora Network even Stage 0, because its fault proofs aren't functional. Since September 16, 2026, a Conduit multisig can upgrade its contracts with no delay. That's a reason not to park large sums there.

Before your first move, check this list:

  1. You know which network each asset is on.

  2. You hold a little ETH on Zora Network for gas.

  3. Exchange transfers go through Base or Ethereum, not Zora Network.

  4. ZORA contracts match the official addresses.

  5. You tested with a small amount.

For the networks where Zora's activity now lives, see the Base wallet guide and the Solana wallet guide. The networks page lists everything Keylo supports.

Zora wallet FAQ#

Is the ZORA token on Zora Network or Base?

On Base, with an official version on Solana as well. Zora lists the Base contract as 0x1111111111166b7FE7bd91427724B487980aFc69. There's no official ZORA on Zora Network, even though the names match. Creator coins from the Zora app also live mainly on Base, so open Base in your wallet to see them.

What wallet supports the ZORA token?

Any wallet that supports Base or Solana, because those are the networks Zora lists for ZORA. That includes the Zora app's own wallet, MetaMask, Rabby and Keylo. In Keylo, ZORA on Base sits under Base, but you add it yourself by contract under Custom tokens. Always compare the contract with Zora's support page.

Where are the NFTs I minted on Zora?

Many mints from 2023 and 2024 sit on Zora Network at the address that minted them, and the Zora explorer shows them by address. If one isn't there, check Base and Ethereum. Keylo has no NFT view on Zora Network and can't send NFTs, so use a wallet with NFT support there, such as MetaMask or Rabby, to display or move them.

How do I bridge ETH from Zora Network to Base?

Use a bridge that supports Zora Network, such as Relay, from a wallet that connects to websites. Keylo has no bridge route for Zora Network, so import your phrase into an extension wallet and bridge from there. The ETH then lands at your same address on Base, where the usual send, swap and bridge options work again.

How long does it take to withdraw from Zora Network to Ethereum?

Through the native bridge, about seven days. You start the withdrawal, prove it on Ethereum, wait out the challenge period, then claim it on Ethereum, paying mainnet gas for both Ethereum steps. Fast bridges such as Relay pay you within minutes for a fee, because they front the funds from their own liquidity.

Can I send ETH from Zora Network to Coinbase or Binance?

Only if the exchange lists Zora Network as a deposit network, so check its deposit page first. If it doesn't, the deposit may never be credited, and recovery isn't guaranteed. Bridge your ETH to Base or Ethereum first, then deposit from there. Always send a small test amount before a large deposit.

How do I link my wallet to Zora?

Zora lets you connect an existing crypto wallet to your account on the app or on zora.co, alongside the email sign-in. That needs a wallet that connects to websites, such as the MetaMask or Rabby browser extensions. Keylo can't be linked, because it has no dapp connections. To use Keylo with Zora, send coins from your Zora wallet to your Keylo address on Base.

How do I export my Zora wallet?

The Zora app's wallet is a smart wallet, a contract account, so its address doesn't come from a recovery phrase you can type into another app. The reliable way out is to send your coins from the app to an address you control on the right network: Base for ZORA and most creator coins. Send a small amount first.

Is Zora Network shutting down?

We found no shutdown announcement as of October 24, 2026. The network still produces blocks every two seconds and its bridge page is live. Activity is very low, though, and Zora's current docs focus on coins on Base. If you only keep ETH there out of habit, moving it to Base is a sensible precaution.
